I have a little gift for you since my new kit, "Shimmer," premieres today as the Divine Diva Deal at Divine Digital. It is a quickpage I made. I hope you like it! One thing about this kit that I love is that it is ideal for black and white photos, which make up the majority of the images I scrap.

Click to download and the picture of my son is NOT included , LOL....Remember, personal use only, send your buddies here to download and leave a comment if you have time.

And, while I am waiting for the freebie to upload to 4shared, I'll share some new pics of my beauties....

These photos I took when my son, Henry, was getting ready to go into the operating room for his surgery. My husband looked at me like I was nuts taking pictures in the hospital and the hospital staff was nervous---I guess they thought I was taking pictures to sue them if anything went wrong! How do you explain that no, I'm just a scrapbooker, without having people look at you with that deer in the headlights look? Yes, I'm a scrapper and I scrap all the moments of my life, even the sad and scary ones like this one. My camera is often my security blanket. Having it with me helps me refocus on something more positive in times of stress. So this is Henry, attached to monitors via his little toes!

And this is happy Henry a week after his surgery:

Don't forget to pick up "Shimmer" today because I'll send you the add-on paper pack for free once I receive a copy of your invoice.
Have a beautiful day,
Cyndi

I know what you mean about scrapping everything. When my youngest had surgery in September I was there, camera in hand, snapping away. I got all his doctors, the nurses, even him coming back to us after surgery lol

Glad you're back and your son is doing well. I understand about scrapping everthing-my camera doesn't leave my side.

The new kit is gorgeous!
