There are many fine things which you mean to do some day, under what you think will be more favorable circumstances. But the only time that is surely yours is the present, hence this is the time to speak the word of appreciation and sympathy, to do the generous deed, to forgive the fault of a thoughtful friend, to sacrifice self a little more for others. Today is the day in which to express your noblest qualities of mind and heart, to do at least one worthy thing which you have long postponed, and to use your God-given abilities for the enrichment of some less fortunate fellow traveler.

Welcome! Today is Day 12 of "Daddy's Candy" and I'm excited to share two freebies with you, one here on my blog and the other at Divine Digital. I also have a contest today and a sale on one product that is for today only. So read on......

Here is the download of the day for "Daddy's Candy" at Divine Digital. Click on the image to get to the thread where you can download it today only. After today it is gone! For those of you who liked the ship the other day it has made another appearance today, just in a different form.....

And here is my blog freebie for Day 12, hope you like it. Click on the image to download and leave a comment and say hi if you do....

And here are some photos from my travels around my world yesterday.....as I wait for slow, slow, slow 4shared to upload my freebie! These are untouched, so forgive me if they are harsh in color or contrast.

On sale today, and today only, is "For Sam," the kit I made for my son, Sam, who is three years old. Normally this kit is $4 but today only you can get it for $2, so that is 50% off. Use the coupon code sam and you will get it half off.

And for those who purchase commercial use products, here is the sale for today.....Buy "ARTitude Overlay Set One" and you will get "ARTitude Overlay Set Two" for free. Use this coupon code and make sure both items are in your cart and the code is in the box before checking out:
arty

Today I decided to have a little contest. I came across an object at the flea market yesterday that was quite a surprise. The first ten people who can correctly tell me what this is will get a $5 coupon to purchase anything in my store. So put your thinking cap on and post your ideas in the comments here on my bog AND send me an email so I can send you the coupon if you guessed correctly. Don't wait to post because the only ten winners will get the coupon! I will wait until 9:00 pm EST tonight to announce the identity of the item and the winners so that everyone gets a chance to guess.

And finally, we have a quickpage completed form "Blog Me," the challenge I am running at Divine Digital. This is our first quickpage and tonight we begin our second quickpage using my kit, "Ellie and Lucy." Click on the link to download and remember, personal use only...

Here is the kit we are working with----it is a charity kit for Kirsty Wiseman's daughter, Ellie. Click on the image to learn more about the charity for her daughter and to purchase the kit:

Okay, that was a long post. Before I sign off I just want to say that I appreciate every single email and comment posted on this blog about the bad press I got the other day. I am back to designing what I want, the way I want and I'm not going to let any nasty people dictate my style or products. So thank you, your words of encouragement were heard and I listened :)

Have a great day and if you have any problem with the coupons or downloads let me know---I'll be at the park until mid afternoon so if you don't hear back from me I'll get back to you, I promise.....

Best,

Cyndi

As for your positive attitude and "doing it your way" ... YOU GO GIRL! We always have to remember that we cannot please all of the people all of the time.

I guess I'm either blind or stupid 'cause I can't find your email address. I clicked on the one at the top, but it didn't work.

As you shouldn't let anyone dictate how you design. So what if they don't like what you make. There's plenty of folks out in the great big digi world that do!! Those photos are amazing! What kind of camera do you have?

Thank you for the freebie! A flea market, eh? So this thing was for sale for some reason. Is it a tortise shell? Sort of looks like a turtle to me, but it could be anything!! Love your Sam kit!

Love your Day 12 blog freebie! Thanks much.

The picture has me torn... either the underside of a turtle, or perhaps an unmortared stone wall?

Thank you for another awesome addon. I'm sooo loving this kit and only wish it were done before "Daddy Day". Everything about it is fabulous!!!

Another thing.... I CAN'T BELIEVE there's a smack blog!!! OMG!!! I've never heard of such a thing and will NEVER visit those sites. Don't people understand that a grab bag is just that.... a grab bag?! So what if it's papers... you are NOT the first to sell "only" papers... at an awesomely CHEAP price at that! IMHO you rock so don't let other's rude comments keep you from "keepin' on".

My guess for the strange pic would be a turtle, don't know what else it could be that you would find at a flea market!

Awesome photos!

I'm guessing what most others are guessing...a turtle shell on the bottom or belly side.

Don't worry what those people were saying, is that why they call that site "DigiSmack?" Just don't go there and listen to all their garbage!

Just to be different, I'm guessing an iguana. Thanks again for the freebie!

Contest 6/12

Humm, can't tell. It is either looking down from the top to the legs of a furry teddy bear -- or a rock.
