Well, I finally have time to post today's freebie for "Daddy's Candy" here on my blog. It has been a long day after a long night of toddlers not going to bed. I'm ready to go to bed now and it is only a little after 3:00 in the afternoon! My youngest sleeps upstairs and once I've read to him and turned on his music, he runs to the door (baby gated) and throws his donuts (two giraffes that he is attached to---Sam named them donut, perhaps living so close to Dunkin Donuts had something to do with it) and his bottle/sippy cup down the stairs, along with any toy or book he can get his little hands on. A nice collection of items can be found within fifteen minutes at the bottom of the stairs. This goes on and on and on and on.....until finally he falls asleep at the doorway, and I have to put him back in his bed and return all his goodies to his room. So I'm not looking forward to tonight. He is going through this attachment phase with me that my other son must have skipped. He is glued to me all the time. I'm about to go nuts! So that is why I am late today with this post. I fell asleep. Yes, I took a nap. Alert the media!
And, just to show you what you can do with these matchbooks (possibilities are endless) here is a little freebie I whipped up while waiting for 4shared aka turtle site to upload my files for today. I used one of the embellishments from my "Patriotic Doodads" collection and a little journal thingee that will be released soon in another element pack. I hope you like it! Personal use only and say hi when you download:
Other things I am currently working on so they are in my store for the 4th of July are an add-on kit (really it is a full size kit) for "Angler," a series of antique elements (I hit the local antique fair and snagged some cool things to scan), a patriotic kit that will include papers and elements but will also match "Patriotic Doodads" as far as color schemes are concerned, and a set of embellished borders. Not sure what to call them other than embellished borders, so if anyone has any ideas, send them my way!
Now, on to today's freebie. Here is the "divine" freebie that you can pick up in THIS THREAD today only at Divine Digital:
And here is the freebie for today. Click on the image to download and say hi if you do. I read all the comments and someday I will hit the 100 comment mark on 4shared....
Now, on to the "Mystery Photo." I kept meaning to do this earlier than today but things got in the way---such as life. So here is the photo. All guesses are welcome and please guess by comment on my blog and if you can't find the comment box (some people reported it was difficult to find) email me cyndi@divinedigital.com The first ten people to guess correctly will receive a $5 coupon to use in my store towards anything they want. If no ones has guessed correctly by tomorrow night, I'll post a clue or two. So have at it.....
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the freebies, make a guess for the mystery photo and stop back here on Friday for another "Daddy's Candy" freebie and possibly some more goodies!!!
Best,
Cyndi

Thanks for the freebies.
I hate to be a nitpicker, but there is now this floating footer on your blog that is always blocking a third of the page and making it hard to read. Could you at least please make it smaller?
4:59 PM
Thank you for todays goodies! Love the matchbooks! definitely on my wish list!! We have a collection of match books from the days when they were free everywhere!
My guess on the photo is a turtle swimming under water.
5:05 PM
Thanks so much for today's freebies! I think that the mystery photo looks like the glass on a shower door.
I couldn't find the link to post comments on your blog, so I cheated and did a view source of your blog, and copied the link for posting comments to get here.

Thank for the great freebies! I think the phot is a closeup of one of those metal piggy banks or figurine
6:47 PM
Thank you for the lovely extras to the "Daddy's Candy" kit!
I think the mystery photo is a frog under water - I'm sure that I can see one of it's eyes!!

I have not been albe to leave a comment directly on your blog ever since you went to thre black background. There is a band across the bottom with the Top 10 Digisites link on it. The Post a comment is behind it and I can't click on it. It hit me tonight that it may be the Mozilla Firefox I use for a browser, so tried Internet explorer and could get to the post a comment section, but the band at the bottom is still there but at the right hand side of my screen and only half of it shows. It is probably my computer...we have discussed how I can mess something up. Anyway I have been leaving comments on the download link site because of this.
Long story short....I think the mystery photo is of an old ice bucket or fish bait bucket. Thanks!

Thanks for the goodies Cyndi!! The matchbook covers certainly bring back memories.... the mystery photo looks like you are taking a photo of a pool of water, your reflection and the big round circle is your camera lens...
Hugs, Lainey

I'm going to guess that it is a textured glass window like you see in first floor bathrooms.
9:20 PM
The mystery photo looks like a hammered copper tea kettle. :)
I have your Angler kit. I can't wait to see the add-on kit.
I love those Vinatage Matchbooks, too. :)
Thank you so much for your generosity of all your freebies. :)
10:35 PM
I think you are taking a picture of an outdoor water feature ball, (you know the kind where the water bubbles form out the top).

Yup, the banner is gone and the comment button is visible...
Thanks for the freebies you give. They are absolutely wonderful.
I think the mystery pic is of matte glass (from a door, like in the bathroom or bowl).
Thanks again!

i love the matchbooks! especially the ones with dogs - how cute! and the freebie is super! the doodad is perfect on the matchbook cover and the whole thing makes a fab frame!!! thanks!
as for the photo, i think it's a shot of a hippo (or elephant) swimming in a tank, taken through the glass. this one's tough! i've been looking at it for quite awhile now, lol!
1:53 AM
I think the mystery is a copper/metal pot
8:29 AM

Is it a pic of water with your reflection?
1:30 PM
Based on the clue, I think it's a super macro shot of a penny.
3:00 PM
As the lady before me said, based on the clue (before that I was completely at a loss) I would say it's a barrette of some sort. This is so much fun, thanks. And thanks for the always fab freebies.
3:23 PM
I thought it was a penny too

This is a hard one... I think it is your reflection in a glass ornament :)
6:58 PM
oops! how remiss of me, thank you so much for the freebie, love those vintage pics :)
6:59 PM
My next guess is that it is a piggy bank
11:06 PM
Okay, seeing the photo of the little girl you posted, I thought for sure it was a close up of the jelly in a home canning jar.
Reading the other comments, I do see the fish shape and turtle in there too.
But I don't [usually] keep jelly in the bedroom. That clue would leave out the fishy too.
So I'm going to guess a glass piggy bank

I have two guesses. Either a trinket box for, say, jewelry, or the backside of a mirror, brush, or cosmetic-related item.
